Poi Making

This term we have been making Poi’s and getting our Poi dance ready for next term week eight. This is a step by step explanation on how to make a Poi.

The first thing you need to do is to get the materials. Which are a plastic bag, some tape, some string, some thick wool stuffing and a pair of scissors.

Second, you need to plait your wool. Tie three pieces of wool together using a string. Then plait the wool and tie it at the end with the string.

Next you need to get your stuffing and tie the wool plait around it with a double knot. Get the plastic bag and put it around your stuffing. Tighten the plastic bag around the stuffing and put some tape on it to keep it closed. After that you need to put a different layer on the Poi to make it tight then put tape on it and cut all the spare pieces.

Now you have a Poi for your Poi dance.
