The Big Fat Cat.
The big fat cat
Sat on the mat
With a big fat rat
and a big fat bat.
All I know is that
The big fat cat
Wore a fluffy hat,
Made of rat
And flew away
With wings of a bat,
And the big fat bat and rat
Didn’t live to see tomorrow.
ELECTRIC CARS
What do you think the future of cars are going to be? I think electric cars is the future of cars because they are better for the environment and convenient. If you want to find out why, then sit back relax and learn.
Everybody knows electric cars run on electricity right. That means they need to be charged regularly. Do you wonder where the electricity goes when the car is being charged. There is a battery in the car and it fills up with electricity.
Everywhere you go these day you see electric charging stations. The other day we were at Sylvia park and right there in the parking area were charging stations. How convenient is that charge your car while shopping. No waiting around for your tank to fill up. Or you could just go home and charge your car while you sleep. (Silence count till 5 in head) Did you hear that, that was the sound of the electric car. Electric cars are not as noisy as petrol or diesel cars. This means that it does not add to noise pollution. This makes it better for the environment.
Electric cars have the same features as ordinary cars but there are some different features like smoother rides because the engine was made different from ordinary cars. Sometimes they are more convenient than petrol cars. Because in some countries electric cars can receive software updates in the comfort of a home garage. (Coughing and choking)Hey dads ever wondered how revving up your v6 engines were affecting the air. Well petrol and diesel operated cars directly affect and contribute to air pollution. But not electric cars. They don't give off any fumes making it better for the air around us ( take a deep breath) mm thats better. Convenience and better for the environment who could ask for more!

German Class.
German Class
In September we had a cultural language week at Good Shepherd School. Each teacher taught a different language. Each child had to pick three different languages they would like to learn. The options were, Italian in Room One, Room Two Brazilian, Room Three Philippino, Room Four Korean, Room Five French, Room Six Indian, Room Seven Spanish, Room Nine Japanese and Room Eight German. We had language quizzes and games.
Luckily for me I got my first choice, which was German. I wanted to learn German because I have cousins that live in Germany. One day I would like to visit them. When I visit them, I would like to speak to them in German. Miss O’Neill taught the German class in Room Eight and we also had parent helpers come and help.
Zara’s au pair who is a German came to our class to talk to us about Germany. She showed us how to play a game. It was like duck duck goose but we stood up and instead of taping someone on the head you put something behind them. If the person tags you then you go into the middle.
I learnt how to say hello, goodbye, what's up, what's your name, my name is, sorry, thank you, you’re welcome and how to count from zero to ten.
At the end of the week each language class did a performance in front of the school and parents. The German group did a slap dance. We wore clothes which were the same colours of the flag or you could put on a German dress. The German flag is yellow, red and black.
I really loved cultural language week. It was amazing and fun.
Auf Wiedersehen.

My little Sister’s Birthday.
My little Sister’s Birthday.
On Thursday the thirteenth of September my sister is going to turn one year old. On Saturday we are going to have a big party for her. My mum and dad got her a toy food truck. For my sisters birthday I bought her a book called ‘Spot’s birthday party’. I got it because the other book she has is called ‘Spot visits his grandparents’ and she really enjoys it. I can't wait till my little sister’s birthday on Thursday.
